"I brought this solar cooker to Africa in 2009. It was easy to use and demonstrate to the women of eastern Congo (DRC) where I was volunteering at the time. I only wish I had more of these to distribute...They are easy to use and understand, efficient in their use of the sun and highly effective. I was able to cook many local favorites in my cooker like grains (rice), spinach (tshitekutaku), and "fufu" a local high energy bread. Don't be deceived by the price, they work, they are cost effective and they are easy to use and understand. If you can understand a sun dial, you can use this cooker, easily."

"This really works! I was surprised at the size - a little bigger than I imagined, but very lightweight. I followed the directions carefully and easily put it together. While everyone else was grilling out on the 4th of July, I was testing out my Solar Cooker! Got a nice dark enamel pot, put it in the bag, and had perfect Quinoa in about 1.5 hours. Now I know that I can boil water, make rice, beans, soup, or anything else if the power goes out. Gives me peace of mind. Would be fun to take out camping, too! I am very impressed by the thoughtful engineering that went into this design. Thank you to the very clever man who designed it!"

"This is the first time I used a solar oven of any sort. Setting it up was very easy with the directions that came with it. I made 2 thawed salmon fillet's. They were refrigerator cold when first put in oven, but were too hot to touch when I took them out. The consistency of the fillet's were perfect and very moist. The flavor was amazing. It was a mostly sunny day and i had them in there 1 hour because it took me an hour to mow. It was very nice just putting the food in there and doing chores and coming back to your food perfectly done . I will be doing many more recipes as often as I can."
