Old is new

Just found some 2 quart mason jars - in dark amber color. These have been great for cooking rice, lentils and any vegetables. Just wash and use. They are dark enough to cook well. And their height takes advantage of the ASSC dimensions and capacity. Found them at Walmart and also on-line. Easy. They fit easily inside my cooking bags. And I use them to keep the leftovers.

I leave the lids off when cooking.
